Picture 1 shows the tension rack that goes on the neck and holds the strings in place, while collapsed and also protects the neck from the body and vice versa.

Picture 2 shows the tension rack mounted on the neck, and the tension is taken off the strings.

Picture 3 shows the single "quick release" bolt that allows the neck to disconnect for collapsing and modified back plate.
Picture 4 shows the plate in the body cavity that has two hardened tool posts for location repetition, and a through hole for the "quick release" bolt to go through. This plate is recessed into the body (by modification) and fixed to the plate on the back of the guitar, which has been slightly modified, but is standard on all guitars that have "bolt on" necks.

Picture 5 shows how the neck pops off, when released by the "quick release" bolt. The guitar then is folded and you can go where you want with a smaller more compact package

Picture 6 shows the collapsable guitar being put into a 20" X 20" X 7" case (outside dimensions) The case can be thinner than 7" by at least an inch.
